Job Title: Quality Manager

Pay Rate: $60-$80,000 - Salary Based on Experience & Skills (+ Benefits after 90 days)
Do you have experience as a Quality Manager in a Manufacturing Environment? Our client, a prominent aerospace company is looking for an energetic and motivated, Full-Time Quality Manager for their Concord Facility. This person will direct, plan, administer, assess and verify all methods, standards, and procedures used by the company to maintain compliance with all Nadcap requirements. They will ensure that processing performed on OEM hardware is per specifications. As well, they will manage quality programs at 2 facilities.
Experience and Skills:
Responsible for entire Quality System at Canadian Facilities
Direct inspectors and quality personnel in their daily responsibilities
Perform problem solving and crisis management for all quality-related issues
Resolve quality non-conformance issues
Oversee customer audits, quality surveys, and other procedures and documentation
Develop or assist in the development of new technology/processes. Provide technical expertise and counsel to management in the development of new customers
Oversee compliance with vendor maintenance, internal audit, and certificate and Nadcap requirements
Optimize the workforce through management of human resources. Prepare hourly performance reviews, approve time off and schedule/approve overtime. Recommend staffing decisions and develop/implement training and cross training programs
Personally observe safety and security procedures and proper use of equipment and material. Actively promote safety process and report any safety issues to proper channels for action.
Support PCC’s Code of Conduct policies and take action to provide a workplace free from harassment or discrimination
Knowledge and Requirements:
Understanding of metal finishing industry
Advanced knowledge of quality systems, quality control, process control, statistical analysis, non-destructive testing, inspection methods, blueprint reading, and welding, machining, grinding and thermal spray technology
Ability to perform high level mathematical problem solving, geometry, physics, chemistry, mechanical properties, thermodynamics, metallurgy, etc.
Strong practical problem solving skills
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Self-motivated and ability to work well with others
Ability to multi-task in fast-paced environment
Good working knowledge of personal computers and standard office software with ability to develop and maintain spreadsheets
Associate Degree in Quality Management or equivalent
6+ years of experience in quality inspection supervision, aerospace industry preferred
Must have a good working knowledge of FAA Part 145 and ISO/AS based quality systems & NADCAP requirements
Normal office environment
Regularly required to move about the facility
Occasional travel required
Wear appropriate personal protective equipment, including eye and hearing protection while in shop.
