As Assistant Retail District Manager you oversee a group of stores within an assigned area and ensure the stores success by executing strategies, upholding standards, building and motivating an effective management team, maintaining effective merchandising techniques, brand consistency, and achieving financial goals
Our ideal candidate must have 3 - 5 years supervisory retail management across multiple locations and demonstrated knowledge and experience in, store operations, merchandise techniques, retail management, and human resource management (e.g., hiring, performance management and training). This includes marketing strategy and tactics, product demonstration, sales techniques, and sales control systems. You are knowledgeable in business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, human resources modeling, leadership techniques, production methods, and coordination of people and resources. You are computer literate with Microsoft Office suite, internet, and basic office equipment and possess knowledge of basic accounting principles. You hold a valid driver’s license and have experience in First Aid and Health and Safety Regulations. You have a reliable vehicle to accommodate travel within your district. A current driver’s abstract and criminal record check satisfactory to the employer is required.

You can expect joining a hands-on work environment where you will be required to physically move through our operation while adhering to daily goals. You will be expected to travel to the stores within your assigned district and overnight travel may be required occasionally. We are operational 7 days a week; however, our stores are open for shopping Monday to Saturday. We schedule our employees based on operational needs - days, evenings and weekends (*note Sundays we are opened to receive donations).
