The top management is great! I like the core values that the company believes in.

The benefits are great. The company provides a lot of training to its associates. Challenging because of difficult customers. I just don't like the working hours, shifts are not fixed making it hard to find a second job. Overall, it is a great company with great people.

the people are amazing. just a great environment. loved working there way too much. managers are so nice. even if i made a mistake you never felt like you were in trouble they treated it more as a learning experience, was the lest stressful work environment i have been in. problems because the store runs on part timers you cane stuck with more or less hours than you want. i was woking 40 hows a week every week and getting paid as a part timer. they are very flexible with action and days off.

Always a adventure. Some people love a routine for work... Well you can find that here but to really enjoy and embrace working at Home Depot yo need to be willing to follow where your tasks take you, You could start out in the Lumber Aisle and end up in Plumbing or Electrical a hour later all with the same customer.
VAULT ASSOCIATE (Current Employee) – Hamilton, ON – 14 October 2017
The benefits for pt are phenomenal. You will be greatly rewareded if you're willing to work. love my job there. Sometimes there are not enough hours to go around, therefore you should be cross trained in order to be able to be versatile .
friendly staff, approachable management lots of work perks
ELECTRICAL AND LIGHTING ASSOCIATE (Current Employee) – Markham, ON – 4 October 2017
The work culture and coworkers at the home depot it the best part of working there. Everyone one is fun and very helpful to new comers.
You can learn a lot about good work ethic and sales but you have to put in the time to learn and study your department or you will we lost.
You get a lot of hours if you work hard but they will take advantage of you at the same time to work harder than others that get the same pay as you do.
The worse part about working at the Home depot is there is never enough staff when the peak times hit and you will be running around like a crazy person. I find it easy because I'm used to that kind of situation but for someone that is starting out that will want to quit and I have see it happen too.

Electrical/ Plumbing Associate (Former Employee) – Okotoks, AB – 31 July 2017
I enjoyed working with my customers and educating them on anything that may have needed and how to use a certain product. The staff for the most part worked as a team and would help other associates with customers needs.
