We are accepting applications for a temporary full-time Accounts Receivable Clerk to fill a vacancy until April 30, 2015.
Duties: Reporting to the Accounts Receivable Coordinator, you will be responsible for the accurate and efficient processing of invoices, deposits, requisitions and other financial transactions. You will track resident admissions and discharges which correlate to monthly revenues, statistical information reporting and other reconciliations. You will need to collaborate with the various sites business offices for billing information and collections on overdue accounts. You will maintain confidentiality at all times and work in accordance with The Good Samaritan Society’s accounting policies and procedures.
Qualifications: You have a minimum of 1 year's experience in a general accounting setting. Post-secondary coursework in accounting is preferred. An equivalent combination of education and work experience may be considered. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office would be considered an asset. Candidates must be able to demonstrate strong organizational, interpersonal, problem solving and communication skills within a customer service environment geared towards excellence.
