MATERIALS &PROCESS ENGINEER - OHIO - Full time
****Must be US citizen*****
Develop/Review work instructions for special and non-special processes (e.g. manufacturing sequence of operations, heat treatment, pyrometry, NDT, metallurgical testing, plating, shot peening, sand blasting, etc.)
-Lead/Participate in NADCAP or customer’s accreditation or re-accreditation audits
-Control and maintain the quality of processes by testing and analysis
-Propose/validate changes to internal procedures related to manufacturing and processes
-Ensure the continued qualification of operators on process
-Conduct investigations of products and processes and report findings to site management team and customers
-Analyse customer specifications and propose deviations if deemed required
-Determine corrective actions in case of problems (lead or participate in Root Cause Corrective Action – 8 steps)
-A university/college degree/diploma in an engineering/applied science discipline, awarded by an accredited institution.
-A minimum of four (4) years experience in material and processes related to the production of aerospace components including machining operations.
