Productive and fun work place with great co-workers and a team that hard to get the job done

A typical day work consists of lots of folding and organizing. Sometimes it can be fast pace, buts its nothing too much to handle. Co-workers are always a blast to be around. Hardest part of the job was waking up early on sundays.

Children's Place is a great company to work for. The Managers are great, the Associates are great people that turn into friends. The hardest part is when there are not enough employees on the floor because the lack of hours we get. I really enjoy helping customers decide what out-fits to get for their kids or help pick birthday gifts.

It was fun working in The Children's Place when I am with my co-workers working as a team. I learned that teamwork is important to make things done efficiently. Our management is fun especially when they make some events for staffs. My co-workers are very friendly and nice to every customer and fun to be with. The hardest part of the job is when customers – more... are always making the organized clothes a mess and we have to organize it all over again while the most enjoyable part is when all staffs have some treats and having some fun during meetings. – less

Cashier, bring stock out when it needs replenishing, also was responsible for processing the stock that came in for the day, and make sure that customers are satisfied and are finding everything that they are looking for. The most enjoyable part was my co workers and seeing the kids that came in everyday, also helping the customers find what they were – more... looking for or putting an outfit together for them. The hardest part of my job was having the management unavailable to us at all times as they would sit in the back for their entire shift. The plus side to this was having more responsibility and having the confidence to make important decisions at till and with customer complaints. I've become a lot more comfortable with working alone as well as with a team. – less

I am usually responsible for cashing out customers and processing their returns. I maintain an awareness of all promotions and advertisements and assist in floor moves, merchandising, display maintenance, and housekeeping. I also assist in replenishing merchandise, and monitoring floor stock, along with aiding customers in locating merchandise. The Childrens place is a great retailer to work for. A typical day would be replenshing stock, keeping the store tidy, helping customers, changing signage/visuals, updating price points.. etc. The hardest part of the job would be dealing with some unreasonable, difficult customers.. thankfully they are generally very few and far between. The most enjoyable – more... part of the job is when you've helped a customer to the best of your ability and they are truly thankful and happy with their purchase! – less

Typical day would be a busy day,hard working and achieving the best for customers. Management always tries their best to comply with customers and inquiries, co-workers are amazing people to work with and never a dull moment with anyone. The hardest part is the cleaning up afterwards and the best is making customers happy with their visit at the store.

I would work for this company again. It is a fun place to work and can be very challenging at times.

Its pretty fun working at the childrens place BUT the district manager keeps cutting our hours, so us who have things to pay for dont make enough.

It was a great job fun to do as long as you like kids and can handle them screaming once and a while it's good

I loved my job but I only got 1-2 hours a week. It was fun because I got to interact with people and help them dress their kids.

Working a childrens place was a nice experience. the scheduling was sometimes very confusing. I basically cleaned on the sales floor, did stock replenished the store, and operate the cash register. There were very little customers so it was easy work.

Definitely an excellent place to grow and learn exceptional customer service skills. Most enjoyable part of the whole experience is seeing a customers face after they have made a worthwhile purchase.

My job was to keep the stock room neat and tidy, see what was needed on the sales floor and then stock it. I had to set up displays and dress the mannequins. My co-works were nice and fun to work with. The hardest part of the job was putting the mannequins together. I enjoyed the environment of the store and the people I worked with.
