The Briars Golf Club is a private members golf club founded in 1922. The Club continues to grow and evolve with an active family friendly membership who works closely with a dynamic management team in order to address a competitive and ever changing private Club market.

The Membership Sales, Marketing & Services Coordinator reports directly to the General Manager and is responsible for all aspects of membership development, marketing, sales, recruitment, service, and retention.

Position Type: Contractor - Membership Sales & Marketing Coordinator
Location: The Briars Golf Club

Responsibilities include:

Developing, implementing, and achieving the goals of the club’s membership marketing and promotion plan
Developing and maintaining positive relations as an Ambassador within the Club & Community through involvement with local businesses
To further the membership development goals and objectives of the club
Fostering relationships with existing members (both new and long standing)
Coordinate and prepare annual membership collateral and documentation for review
Manage and develop all aspects of the Club’s annual communication calendar
Website management (Private and Public)
Newsletter Creation
Social Media
Works closely with the Club’s Membership, Marketing & Communications Committee

Job Specifications and Qualifications Required:

Post Secondary School degree/diploma (Business or Hospitality is an asset)
Previous Sales & Marketing work experience is required
High degree of computer literacy: Word processing, database & sales management software, Windows, Excel, E-mail, Internet, Jonas etc.
Superior knowledge of the written and oral English language, superior knowledge of grammar and spelling
Strong organizational and interpersonal skills; ability to deal with a cross-section of internal and external customers in an efficient, timely and congenial manner
Exceptional customer service focus
Team player who possess a proactive business and service demeanor
Flexible work hours required
