PASTRY CHEF/BAKER - OVERNIGHT - EXPERIENCED

We are searching for a Pastry Chef/Baker for our Wholesale Bakery distribution to the Hospitality Industry.
Some of the requirements/skills needed:
- Experience and knowledge of a baking environment, such as ABLE TO FABRICATE FROM SCRATCH CROISSANT and DANISH DOUGH and all other dough puff pastry, European pastries, etc
- Knowledge and experience in working with 100 qt mixer, proofers, commercial type ovens
- Able to adapt to changing working schedule and day to day production
- Ability to lift heavy loads such as dough, boxes, machinery, etc. (up to 30 Kg)
The baker will also be responsible to produce assorted baked goods such as Croissants (different types), European Viennese Pastries, etc. by hand and would rely on machinery to mix baked products during the preparation phase of production. Specific Skills: Prepare pastry dough from scratch. Prepare required amount each night based on orders and ensure quality of product and portion control, Create new recipes.
Shift is OVERNIGHT from 8PM - 4AM. Candidate needs to have transportation to/from location.
This is a permanent full time position.
Salary and compensation will be discussed during the interview process and will depend on skill level.

A Wholesale Distribution French Bakery is looking for a Pastry Chef
Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full Time, overnight from 8PM-4am
Anticipated Start Date: April 20th, 2014 or As soon as possible
Location: Leslie & York Mills (will need to provide own transportation)
Languages: Speak English. French is nice to have.
