productive and fun work experience in dealing with our guest
Food and beverages Server (Current Employee), Doha, QatarNovember 25, 2013
Pros: free meal
Cons: long hour
Each of the day are all the same, same routine but as a server I have to make my own ways and twist to enjoy the work..Making some jokes and trick to the guest.I learned how to be more professional at work in communicating with the guest and to our team members.I learned to be more engaged with our guest by giving them the excellent food and good service.I – more... don't have any problem in my work but the hardest part is when I'm receiving my salary I feel so sad because its to low compare the to the work I did.The most enjoyable part is when the management team were accomplished in every good job I did. – less

waitress (Former Employee), Murfreesboro, TNDecember 14, 2012
Pros: learned new skills
Cons: bad management
I loved the atmosphere at Fridays, but the management was terrible and they were not very understanding. I was able to build on my serving skills in my short time there. With my expertise in the restaurant business I feel that I could have advanced and flourished.

Short Order Cook/ Expeditor (Former Employee), Winnipeg, MBOctober 25, 2012
Pros: discounts on food, free coffee under ssp company stores and tips
Cons: salary is not enough.
It is really fun working in this restaurant! I love my the management too! I had a chance to deal with the customers while working. I was also offered by my manager to be a trainer in the kitchen for the company of SSP Canada! I have never had a problem in this job. And for the hardest part? Have to deal with the security of the airport, because the – more... restaurant is located inside the airport. – less

Great Job for a high school student
Hostess (Former Employee), Greenville, SCJuly 18, 2014
Pros: the great food
Cons: long hours
I love the job overall but the pay wasn't very great for someone with bills. The guest is what makes the day great. the hardest part about the job is working by yourself when it gets busy because you only can do so much on your own. My coworkers were great I wouldn't ask for a better crew to work with. My typical day was greeting the guest and rolling – more... silverware at nights. – less

Awesome job experience
HOST/SERVER (Former Employee), Conway arkansasJuly 18, 2014
A typical day at work would consist of assisting customers which I would consider my most enjoyable part of the job. I am very energetic and love working with others. The management is very well organized and works well to with the employees. I work well with my co-workers and contribute to the team. I have learned that not every customer is happy but – more... it is important to make sure the leave happy and ready to come back. Communication is the most important key. – less

i hate my job
Line Coach (Current Employee), Amherst, NYJuly 11, 2014
Pros: when i got to leave, some ataff members
Cons: my entire shift, health care, managment
Lazy managers that don't communicate or follow laws and safety guidelines. Refuse to schedule proper staff and hire new staff members when needed. Cant order food and materials properly. Good employees get told they don't do enough and have poor attitudes while the unreliable and lazy staff don't have any consequences.

EXPEDITER/WAITRESS (Current Employee), Chesapeake, VAJuly 10, 2014
Pretty fast paced, easy going environment. Shifts range from 2 - 10 hours a day depending on the schedule and seasons. Great customer service experience for anyone starting in the service industry. The late hours every night would be the hardest part of the job for the full time college student along with the inconsistency of income, no gratuity, and – more... no benefits. – less

Dishwasher (Former Employee), Newington, CTJuly 8, 2014
Pros: discounts on the food
Cons: short break time
When I worked at TGI Fridays was very fun I will learn something new each day they had me training in every station of the prep work. I will learn how to cook good and at a fast speed and make sure everything is done on time the hardest part of this job was on Fridays night because the kitchen will be very messy n my ocd will drive me crazy.
