My duties involved on a typical day were stock control, merchandising, The management of deliveries and transfers as well as maintaining current stock levels. As a multi tasked member of staff my job role including customer service, till work and occasionally restocking the shelves and filling stock.
In this job i learnt stock management, shrink and – more... profit loss and maintaining a good level of stock in order to achieve customer satisfaction at all times.
I worked well within a team and developed a good working relationship with colleagues.
The hardest part of the job role was meeting strict deadlines and hitting targets under pressure. I always managed to hit targets and meet my deadlines and prided myself in this.
The most enjoyable part of this job was achieving good customer service, managing an efficient stock level and working together in a team to achieve job satisfaction and sufficient stock takes. – less
