TDCSS Community Living Services/Youth and Family Services
TDCSS is looking for dynamic and motivated individuals to join our team.

Required: -A Diploma in a Human Services Field or a minimum of two year’s experience working in this field
-Non-Violent Crisis Intervention
Preferred: -Diploma or Degree in a field related to working with people with a developmental delay
-Communication & Teamwork Workshops
-Non-Aversive Behaviour Management or equivalent training
-Training in Program Planning
-Training in personnel management
-Training in Non Aversive Behaviour management
Required: Proven ability to work as part of a team
Preferred: -one (1) year supervisory experience
-Demonstrated ability to follow through with assigned tasks
-Experience in working with people who have challenging behaviours
-Experience in working with people who have a dual-diagnosis
-Experience in assessment, program design, evaluation, & individual program planning
Skills and Abilities
Required: -Proven ability to initiate problem solving strategies
-Proven ability to liaise with families and outside agencies
-Demonstrated ability to be Self-motivated
-Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with staff, peers and managers
-Demonstrated a high level of commitment and flexibility
-Ability to plan & organize work/workspace, keep files up-to-date and organized
- Meet TDCSS Health Requirements
-Basic First Aid
-Class 4 Driver’s License
-Proven ability to use Word, Excel, PowerPoint or their equivalent
-Valid Business Insurance
-Use of a vehicle for business purposes (mandatory)
Pay & Benefits will be in accordance with the TDCSS & BCGEU (Local 312) Collective Agreement. This position requires Union membership.
