The Sales Manager will be responsible for prospecting and securing new membership for Terminal City Club, Vancouver's premier private business club With a focus on outside sales calls and networking within the Vancouver Business community to uncover new membership opportunities, with a goal of meeting/exceeding revenue goals through proactive selling, which includes outside sales calls and personal sales calls Prospect and follow-up on all sales leads in a timely and professional manner Conduct site tours Promptly prepare correspondence to customers, Maintain accurate and detailed internal booking reports Maintain an up-to-date client file, database and tracking system Other duties as assigned by Director of Sales & Marketing Requirements: Ideally the sales manager will have experience in one or several of the following fields: private members club, luxury dining or luxury hotel You must be passionate, driven and charismatic with exceptional written and verbal communication skills You take pride in your grooming and present yourself as 'classically fashionable' Self-motivated, decisive, responsible and driven to achieve goals The ability to work unsupervised the majority of the time Knowledge of corporate marketplace an asset Established relationships within the business community an asset Ability to work independently with confidence - prospect and close Ability to meet/exceed quarterly financial targets Strong negotiating and decision-making skills Proven skillset
