Business Continuity & Risk Management Coordinator (Former Employee) – Calgary, AB – 15 August 2017
Putting the customer at the heart of everything we do – listening and learning to deliver the best experience possible Their team members are encouraged to be creative, curious and never, ever stop learning.
Team Leader @ UpStat Marketing (Former Employee) – Kelowna, BC – 27 March 2017
As a door-to-door based position and 100% commission being the only pay structure, employees are actually contracted and must use the most of their sales skills and high pressure techniques to close deals in order to make money. Long hours but high potential for money. Quick advancement if successful.
SALES REPRESENTATIVE (Former Employee) – Lloydminster, AB – 21 March 2017
I would recomend telus to anyone looking for a company with a great pay structure wonderful benefits and bright future. they have the best coverage in all of canada and they're heavily based in both bc and alberta.
Customer Systems Engineering Specialist (Former Employee) – Calgary, AB – 17 March 2017
TELUS first and foremost is about the people. On that score TELUS succeeds. TELUS takes great care to put the right combination of people together who compliment each other and they succeed. Some customers and be better than others, but projects tend to work out in the end. I would recommend TELUS.
Business Consultant (Former Employee) – CA – 15 March 2017
Great company with amazing and fun people involved in both dying technologies (e.g home phone) and new ones Telus Health. The company has a strong leader that ensure all units sail in the same direction
Former interviewer (Former Employee) – Edmonton, AB – 10 March 2017
You'll be hired by a Telus contractor and taught how to do door to door sales. it's very misleading and they couldn't care less if you stay or leave. You will get the job because everyone usually leaves after their presentation.
Représentante de la fidélité et rétention (Former Employee) – Montréal, QC – 10 March 2017
Telus was for me one of the best experience I could of imagine in the corporate world. After 3 years and several months, I felt like I've achieved everything I could and wanted towards this company. I will keep great memories of working for Telus Mobility.
Business Analyst (Current Employee) – Burnaby, BC – 23 February 2017
It's a corporation.
When business is doing well, all is great. When it isn't, not so much. If decisions made at the top affect revenues adversely then it can be not so good. If numbers don't add up, then the workers will "pay the price". Not exclusive to this organization, but that is the problem with much of the corporate world.
If you can find a good management team within the organization, then all is good. But that isn't always easy to see from the outside. Be wary of teams that are deemed "high performance". That is usually a way to make a lack of efficiency sound good.
Overall, it is like most work places. Politics rule.
Good mobility within organization. Challenging work.
Order Implementation Manager (Former Employee) – Toronto, ON – 22 February 2017
TELUS is a good company to work for. They offer great benefits (health/dental, match your pension and stock contributions).
I have worked in various departments at TELUS and found management to be very good at times by providing you support and actually caring about your well-being and life balance. At other times I found that management didn't care and just was looking out for themselves, but it all depends on the department and the manager at that time.
