We are a Professional local Vancouver based Telecommunications Boutique who specialize in Telecommunication Solutions and Services for Businesses. We focus in Digital and IP Telephony Solutions plus leading edge Telecom Accessories such as Conference Solutions, Headsets and Professional Recording Services.

We currently have an opening for a fulltime Junior Field Technician to join our dynamic Support Team. We are looking for a bright and motivated individual to join our smart, hardworking, support team to service and maintain our client base. The ideal candidate will be confident and outgoing with excellent personal skills and professionalism. A positive attitude is key with the ability to work independently.

This is a unique opportunity where the Practicum will lead into a Paid Full Time Employment/Apprenticeship Opportunity with a 2 to 5 Year Contract. All training will be provided by a Lead Technician/Mentor Program for the first 3 Months then continued for a year where you will learn the industry and our Product Portfolio. A Paid Full Time Apprenticeship!

We are seeking a very special candidate to fill this position. The candidate will possess excellent communication skills- both written and verbal (english). Plus have the ability to multitask, highly organized and able to execute a project in a timely fashion. Telecommunications Industry experience an asset but not mandatory. IT and a Networking background a must.

Position is very challenging and diverse; involves mainly being out off of the office working independently in the field servicing our clients. (Company vehicle to be provided) Responsibilities include maintaining relationships, conducting system design meetings, programming systems, onsite installations (telecommunication systems, headsets, conference systems), overseeing new projects of new installs/upgrades/expansions/moves. Providing Remote Technical Support and Programming Changes for Clients to Phone System and Voicemail Platforms. Customer Service Support and End User Training. Some travel will be required for non-local client sites and evening/weekend work for special projects.

We are expanding and are a private company that sells its own brand of Telephone and Voice Mail systems to clients. We are also the North American Distributor and all the 75+ Dealers in the United States. In contrast to most competitor interconnect companies that sell many different makes and models of phone systems- we only sell our own systems so this is much easier for staff to learn the system and provide a higher level of customer service to our clients. A Master of One rather than a Jack of All Trades!

Compensation package includes Salary throughout First Year Apprenticeship plus Bonus Programs for Projects and Sales due to direct lead generations from ongoing positive client relationships being maintained. Compensation to be negotiated based on experience and education.

Position Requirements (Mandatory):
- Valid BC Drivers License
- Own means of transportation to/from work (Company car provided for any business related travel)
- Computer Skills - A fundamental knowledge of Microsoft Office: Word, Excel and Outlook
- Computer Skills- Typing ability/ 60 WPM
- Excellent customer service skills a must
- Must be a self-starter with a "can-do" attitude
- Organizational skills
- Demonstrated ability to take initiative and work independently as well as in a team environment
- Must be detail oriented and possess analytical and problem solving skills with logical thought processes
- Strong written and verbal communication skills (English) including excellent telephone skills are required
