Summary of Primary Job Responsibilities
The Operations Trainer’s primary role will be the delivery of client and in-house curriculum to new agents. The trainer will be responsible for determining training needs based on business objectives and individual development requirements, design, delivery, and evaluation of training and learning alternatives. The trainer’s main focus will be on the successful delivery of qualified agents to the production floor. Based on the needs of the business you may be reassigned to agent status to dial (take calls) on any designated program that requires the need at such time.
Skills and Qualifications
Education: Relevant Post-secondary education or an equivalent combination or education and experience would be an asset.
Experience Target: Experience with conducting small to medium learning activities and knowledge of the adult learning theory. Experience in training Outbound and sales in a call centre environment preferred.
Skills: Strong verbal and effective written communications skills. Strong problem solving and analytical skills. Excellent time management skills. Excellent planning and organizing skills, especially prioritizing multiple projects/tasks.
Technical Skills: Must be technically proficient with MS Windows, MS Office and have excellent trouble shooting skills.
Abilities: Demonstrated ability to adapt practices and techniques to changing priorities and issues. Expert at establishing and maintaining effective relationships with other management staff, front line associates, and the general public. Demonstrated personal drive and sense of urgency. Meticulous attention to meeting timelines.
