Established and growing team has an opportunity for a Senior Developer with in-depth OO development and C++ web development expertise. Your work will focus on the platform that enables the distribution of online digital goods and you will have an opportunity to solve highly complex technical challenges in an Agile team environment.

The platform provides online services for a suite of products. The company is a world leader in their space and their investment in new technology includes social media, big data and cloud solutions.

What you need to have:

• 5+ year’s OO development experience, with a focus on server and Web development for 24/7, high transaction environments (online)
• In-depth experience developing online C++ applications on a Unix platform, inclusive of experience with architecture
• 3+ years’ experience in developing database applications (Oracle and MySQL)
• Expertise in network and application layer protocols (TCP, UDP, HTTP)
• Strong API development and integration experience
• Multithreaded programming

It would be nice if you also had:

• C# application development experience in a Windows environment

What you will be doing:

• Write code for multiple concurrent users of the online system
• Integrate security and network protocols as required
• Influence the future of online digital product interaction with social media
• Design and implement server side solutions for consumer facing web sites
• Research and recommend best of breed algorithms
