Great place to work with very interesting technology and chill environment
Electrical Engineer (Current Employee) – Salt Lake City, UT – 27 April 2017
It is hard to be bored as an engineer at TDW. There is a wide mix of technology used in the company's products and all of it is fun and interesting to work with. Additionally, the company places a healthy emphasis on R&D projects which means new technology is being created every day. The atmosphere is chill and the company makes it clear it cares for its employees and their health and wellness. To that end, a wide variety of onsite recreation activities are offered including basketball, soccer, disc golf, ping pong, and a yearly flag football tournament. Safety on and off the job is also a priority. A challenge the company is currently facing is interdepartmental communication. This is an issue that the leadership team is aware of and has made it a priority to improve. And they have made significant progress to this end. The fun and interesting work, chill atmosphere, and good work-life balance make this an ideal place to work.
Interesting Technology, Values, Emphasis on Wellness, 401K Match
TDW is a competitive company that is seeking a balance between growth and maintaining quality of both products and services. The company will spare no expense when it comes to training and safety and they will not send you to do a job blindly or ill equipped. If concerns over safety are raised as an employee you have the power to stop working or halt the project, which is rare these days.
there are many arms under one hat that need to come together and support each other. there were many meals shared together, company sponsored at an attempt to team build but, no direction from management.

For many years TD Williamson has been a good company to work for. They offer good benefits, good pay and a safe work environment. There are however issues that make it an ever increasingly difficult and stressful place to work. Issues with the general operating system, constantly changing processes and manually collected data for KPI's make it difficult to function and manage as a modern company should.
