Can be Stressful
QA Analyst/Lead (Contract) (Former Employee) –  Toronto, ON17 May 2017
At times its very stressful, too much to manage. Company politics plays a role. Too much change and work can be managed better by proper planning. Multi cultural place to work.

Fun place with fair pay
IT analyst (Current Employee) –  insurance analyst17 May 2017
Pros
- Job stability is good
- Work life balance
- employee stock plan is pretty decent with the match
Cons
- Ceiling at your current level, and tough to move up unless you know someone
- management is a revolving door, which is almost funny to watch
- salary is pretty low in most cases
Advice to Management
- $5 tims cards does not make up for hounding you every day for sales
- let people actually do something towards progressing company instead of micro managing every move

Not what it used to be
Consultant (Contract) (Current Employee) –  Mississauga, ON16 May 2017
TD's corporate culture, job stability and work-life balance has steadily declined due to numerous reorganizations.

Most new positions are off-shore, as well as current ones being farmed out to outside agencies with foreign staff.

Management does not appreciate Canadian staff.
Pros
Somewhat flexible hours for certain positions
Cons
Instability, low pay

Good place to start your career, benefits and pay are good for a student. Lagging promotion after finishing your schooling. Depends heavily on where you work

Challenging and interesting job with opportunity to grow personally. Place where I can apply my knowledge, experience and skills, and where I can find myself satisfied with the work, environment and people surrounding me.

TD Bank - Workplace
Senior Business Analyst (Former Employee) –  Toronto, ON30 April 2017
Teams and people are generally quite helpful and relaxed. Structure is rigid but flexible enough so it doesn't feel militant. Good work life balance as you are able to work from home (at leas my department) a couple of days out of the week.

Great place to work
Small Business Specialist (Current Employee) –  3500 Steeles Ave E, Markham, ON24 April 2017
This is a great bank to work for. I've hear horror stories from employees of other banks, but not really as much from TD. They have decent perks for employees. There is a viral culture there. Once you breath it in your life is all about TD. It is almost borderline brainwashing/hypnosis.
Pros
Free lunches once in a while, amazing staff, management support, employee programs, etc... The list goes on
Cons
work life balance is terrible, pay is not that great. They place a huge target for sales revenue..!!

TD is undergoing massive changes
IT Specialist (Former Employee) –  London, ON19 April 2017
As TD grows their footprint in the USA, it has impacted the Canadian employees job security. In my opinion, over the next five years, we will see less TD culture in Canada and more in the USA.
Pros
If you are an employee, the banking benefits are good.
Cons
Many Canadian employees are fearful of losing their jobs.
