Design Engineer (Former Employee) – India – 10 May 2017
The kind of work you do would depend on the project. If you are working in projects related to Jaguar and Land Rover, you get to learn a lot. I found that the CAE work is more interesting than CAD works that goes on in the company.
Technical Consultant (Former Employee) – Jamshedpur – 3 May 2017
A lot of different fields of exposure while working on a certain project. Good exposure on production methodologies.Work done in factory planning and line optimization. Had to learn different tools in short intervals of time.
TATA Technologies is good company to start your career. They have some big accounts under their name which one can boost about in their resumes. Really need to focus on new domains and also re look into the HR policies which are stale and outdated.
Good Engineering services company
Still follow old HR policies, those needs to be updates
India - Design Engineer (Former Employee) – Pune, Maharashtra – 7 April 2017
Good experience. For you to decide how much to work. Balanced Work life. The constant department change and the collection of captive clients is a bit of a problem. Luckily I was in the department that had dynamic projects.
Service sector company where Tata Motors being the key customer. May feel a secondary citizen in front of tata motors employees. For people seeking prospects in design can have a good time in the company.

Your day in TTL(Tata Technologies) will be a balance of work with time for fun frolic thereby making you enjoy each day at work.
As for learning , my perception says it's completely individualistic what i found here is , you could learn from situations, failures and your co-workers but no professional training sessions or exposure to apart from your client case studies thereby making it just one eyed soldier.
Management is very supportive if your able to deliver to both client and company's expectation but lacks appreciation in form of awards, accoladation or perks.
Work place culture is pretty chilled out and very helpful as for your co workers help each other grow and learn.
Hardest part of the job in TTL is to continue doing good work without much expectations both in terms of promotion or growth in terms of compensation.
Most enjoyable part is definitely Freedom given to ideate ,conceptualize ,develop , sustain and value add to services or process we are entitled to. Fun at work Enough holidays to keep great work life balance.
Lead systems engineer. (Former Employee) – Coventry, and then Gothenburg. – 14 March 2017
A pleasant and busy assignment.
I am not obliged to divulge any greater details of the work I undertook for Tatatechnologies, whilst working at their offices in Gothenburg Sweden. Due to the fact that I had to sign a non disclosure agreement.
Generally my work was that of a lead Design Engineer on Exterior Trim, on the Volvo / Koenigsegg joint ' PS14' sports car program.
Most of the design was for the integration of Carbon Fibre body panels with other Composite structures.
The project was very challenging on a number of levels, however the work environment was very dynamic and exciting.
