Role and Responsibilities

The SME/Solution Architect for Costing, Least Cost Routing and Global Traffic Management, Data-IP applications SME, Level 3 support is accountable for the detailed troubleshooting and issue resolution following ITIL process in the Line of Business (LOB) strategies.
Delivering Change request and PR/ bug fix by following design, development standards and architecture standards.
Developing new code for functionality and performing custom enhancements to the existing code.
Gathering Requirements from client and working closely with the requirement to define changes in ITIL process.
Act as lead to manage onsite and offshore team with effective communication, confidence, trust, guidance and proper delegation.
Internal Team management / work assignment with respect to the project plan/ objective. Also plan & assign adhoc maintenance activities.
Capacity planning / Project planning / performance monitoring cum tuning / review of activities & reporting the progress of the same.

Required Skills& knowledge

Minimum of 4 years’ experience under IT Operations - L2 and L3 support in Telecommunications Domain – Costing LOB and ITIL V3 foundation and/or ITIL 2011 certified
Impeccable hands on exposure over the tools - Appworx (UCA’s product), Least Cost routing, Global Traffic Management, CA tools (SDP, Clarity), Bugzilla and on IDEs - Eclipse, Toad, PL/SQL developer, Putty, IBM WAS, SVN.
Strong technical cum Practical knowledge in oracle PL/SQL, Unix Shell Scripting, Java, J2EE, Hibernate, Websphere, Struts, C, Pro*C and Perl scripting.
Strong experience in gathering business requirements from client groups and lines of business and converting these into functional specification documents ("deep" documentation experience is required).
Evoking leadership qualities and good experience in Building & Managing the support group handling diversified customers
Bright rivet on problem solving skills following ITIL process, Process handling techniques via Ultimatix – IQMS, IPMS, Capacity planning & Service improvement plans, Reviews – toll gate process, Requirement gathering.
Is a conceptual thinker; possesses an ability to convert abstract, complex information into concrete material and ideas that can be easily understood.
Strong analytical skills for complex problem solving.
Strong experience meeting with clients and users in building or maintaining client relationships.
Solid English communication skills, both written and verbal.
Comfortable in making presentations to medium to large size audiences on the subject of data.
