• Handling a team of about 35 members 7 engineers and 2 Fiber Restoration (FRT) Team and 2 Operation and Maintenance (O& M) Team to ensure the Preventive & Proactive Maintenance of the OFC route& POP sites with 100% uptime by coordinating with NOC and equipment vendors.
• I have been worked in the NOC Operations for NLD networks, India.
• Ensure regular reporting on key service performance and quality metrics (in relation to incident management)
• Act as an escalation point for the Service Desk and customers
• Responsible for identifying, investigating and managing Incidents , ensuring that follow up actions are performed, manage Major Service Outages through to conclusion, keeping all relevant parties appraised of the situation and escalating as appropriate
• Support the Network Assurance Manager and the Service Operations Manager as required.
• Produce incident and service reporting to required standard.
• Communicate outages according to management and customer requirements.
• Closure of Incident records and submission of Problem Request forms.
• Producing and maintaining of Standard Operating Procedures for all of the above.
• Seek and contribute to continuous service improvement initiatives for Service Operations
• Provide advice to support staff in the resolution of Incidents, including negotiation with customers and support teams in order to resolve issues which may delay resolution.
• Planning of new OFC Rings STM-1, STM-16 & STM-64 with redundancy path for NLD Network.
• Rearrangement of old network to new design for future requirement.
• Designing of PDH, SDH & DWDM Network with Utility. Link budgeting
• Equipment provisioning, configuration and commissioning, hand over and fault diagnosis (SDH Multiplexers, WDM, RTU's, Switches and Routers, Networking) including the completion of test documentation
• Spares Management and Audit, Fault Management (OSP + ISP + Infra) RFO to NOC ETR to NOC ME Event Report to NOC, Maintaining fault details with RFO in the site for ISP & INFRA and maintain DFR details for OSP faults are documented for analysis.
• Overall Maintenance (EB Utilities, DG, SMPS, UPS, Battery Bank, AC Units, Earth Bits, AVR, FIRE System, HKA systems& First Aid Box)of TCL owned sites with major POP-2nos and other POP- 8nos and COLO sites also.
• Monthly conducting INFRA EVALUATION (EB & DG Consumption, Earth test, Battery test, Fire detectors test, HKA test & AC performance test) report.
• Single Point of Contact for the TCL TN NLD sites (Infra/ Facilities Installation & Maintenance).
• Infra- AMC visits and PM /CM Reports (DG, AC, SPMS, and BB) For Built and Infra Status Reports and audit reports (IRU) recorded.
• Providing End to End support for Infra/ Facility to sites installation & Maintenance. The result of continuous effort we achieved the 100% uptime (Zero unplanned events) in the INFRA MAINTENANCE.
• OSP: ABD updating, LSPM and OTDR Trace as per process, DPR/ATR and other PM CM Reports& ISP: PM of Nodes & Report to HQ
• Meeting with IRU Partners & Route Contractors (MOM to be circulated) for the better network performance.
• ISP MUXS Maintenance of SDH (NEC, ECI, TEJAS and FIBCOM) & DWDM (Alcatel & Huawei) of 50 nodes.
• SPOC for the TN NLD ISP PM Report (The continuous follow up for preventive measures taken to the all Multiplexers) to avoid failures.
• Hands on experience in testing OSA/SDH analyzer, power meter, laser source, OTDR, splicing, jointing and termination.
• EBG Customers feasibility checking, Planning, Installation & Maintenance.
• HUAWEI 40G & 100G Technology having Installation & Maintenance experience.
