Location: Oakville, ON
Our IT Team is looking for an IT Support/Helpdesk Team Member.
Provides all support for Desktop and Application inquiries.
Provides hands on solutions at the desktop including hardware installation, software updates and system configurations.
Performs troubleshooting and problem diagnoses for hardware and software requests.
Logs all helpdesk issues.
Supports after hours on-call support.
Identifies and escalates situations requiring urgent attention.
Generates high customer satisfaction by providing excellent customer service skills.
Windows, application and hardware support and knowledge, experience supporting the MS Office Suite, MS Operating Systems (Windows 7 and 8), printer queues, shared files and shared printers.
Good problem solving skills.
Excellent English communication and interpersonal skills – customer service – oriented.
Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Additional knowledge of the following would be advantageous: MS Server Operating System, helpdesk methodologies and tools.
Ability to quickly learn and apply new technical concepts.
A strong desire to learn.
Some on-call support required.
Some off-hours work required.
Travel may be required.
