The Warehouse Technician loads, unloads, and moves products and materials throughout the warehouse with lift trucks, pump trucks, or by hand. The Warehouse Technician picks orders for shipping. The Warehouse Technician must ensure that all Health & Safety standards are followed, and that the warehouse complies with GMP standards at all times.
Receiving: Off-loading materials (skids, drums, totes).
Picking orders and preparing pallets for shipping.
Shipping: verifying transport company with Bill of Lading, conducting trailer inspections, loading pallets onto trailers, completing outbound shipment paperwork.
Completing shipping/receiving/inventory reports as required.
Daily inspection of lift trucks using checklist.
Routine maintenance of lift trucks, using personal protective equipment as required.
Maintaining GMP standards for housekeeping in the warehouse
MUST be certified on Raymond Reach lift trucks with REVERSE steering
Certification on CounterBalance electric lift trucks is beneficial
Must have 2-3 years experience shipping/receiving and order-picking, preferably in a food manufacturing facility.
Talon designs, assembles and packs point of purchase displays for the retail marketplace.
