Overview of Role:
We are currently seeking a wireless expert to become a Field Marketing Rep on behalf of Samsung Wireless. This is a 12 month contract and is an ideal position for a highly motivated sales and relationship driven individual. You will manage a group of retail store fronts in a retail space in an assigned geographic territory.
You will be responsible for increasing brand awareness, product knowledge, advocacy and product sales. You will explain electronics technology using layman's terms to sales reps and others on the features and benefits of the products.

Mobile Wireless Field Marketing Representative:
This position will manage Samsung’s Mobile Wireless displays, merchandising, inventory & sell thru for key dealer store fronts within assigned region. Control Retail Sales Person’s consumer messaging thru on-going trainings & evaluations. Create awareness of Samsung promotions and Corporate initiatives. Provide voice of customer to internal sales & marketing thru feedback or Market Intel reports. This position is also the main spokespeople for Samsung Divisional & Corporate Marketing events.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Establish, retain and grow relationship building and communication skills
  • Strong presentation abilities with experience in delivering training presentations
  • Ensure assigned products are presented in line with defined expectations
  • Product is properly positioned, priced, cleaned, all signage in place and POP is compliant
  • Collect and report information on competitive strengths and weaknesses

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Exceptional relationship building and communication skills
  • Strong presentation abilities with experience in delivering training presentations
  • Thorough understanding of retail sales, merchandising, sales motivators, and marketing
  • Ability to travel up to 25% outside of territory
  • Experience in a sales leadership role is highly desired
  • Experience in "big box" retail is preferred
