Our client, a manufacturer of parts for the automotive industry, is currently seeking a skilled CNC Programmer to permanently join their team.


  • Develop, write, and edit CNC programs
  • Setup, adjust and troubleshoot CNC machines
  • Provide support to production (Setup, Tool changes, problem solving, etc.)
  • Assisting in the implementation of continuous improvement initiatives
  • Coordinate with Maintenance, Tool & Die, Q.A. and Engineering staff
  • Perform tooling maintenance as required
  • Train and assist CNC operators with changes and offset adjustments
  • Ensure set-ups and repairs are done with respect to minimizing downtime, scrap, and tooling costs

Basic Requirements:

  • College Diploma or University Degree in related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience
  • Knowledge of metal cutting and machining processes
  • Advanced knowledge of machining and proven experience in prototyping and blue print reading
  • Experience with metrology, SPC, and the use of measuring equipment
  • Flexible in respect to hours of work and have the ability to work overtime as required
