Our client has an immediate need for a Senior Manager in their Supply Chain consulting practice. This organization is one of the world’s largest professional services firms and is looking to add a Senior Manager SCM with proven leadership skills and experience in the Canadian oil and gas industry

Things You Need to Have:
- Lead a diverse team of talented Consultants in a cross functional environment while coaching them to their highest potential
- Cultivate relationships with clients and posses a strong knowledge in leveraging prevalent methodologies
- Employ a structured approach to project management to ensure complete client satisfaction and project profitability
- Develop your expertise in a specialization and develop a reputation as a multi-functional business advisor
- Contribute to practice growth and development
- Participate in the development and delivery of training programs
- Completed undergraduate degree with outstanding academic credentials preferably Bachelor of Industrial engineering or Operation management or Logistics
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in consulting or delivering Supply Chain Management services
- Strong commitment to professional and client service excellence
- Superior verbal and written communication skills
- Proven ability to deliver the full cycle of project management accountabilities in a cross functional environment
- Experienced with project problem diagnosis, solution development, client communications, facilitation of decision making, documentation, managing client expectations and team leadership
- Canadian travel required, occasional international travel. Candidates must be able to enter the USA to work on client assignments

It would be great if you also had:
- Lean Six Sigma
- Post graduate degree and/or a professional designation is an asset

What you will be doing:
- Lead small collaborative engagement teams through the development and implementation of sourcing and procurement strategies
- Participate in the development of best-in-class sourcing and procurement assessments and process implementations from spend analyses to total cost analyses to reverse auctions to supplier contract management to contract negotiations
- Identify client opportunities, author client deliverables and present findings at the senior client level
- Work collaboratively with client personnel leveraging their resources and knowledge to achieve project goals and complete deliverables on-time
- Provide clear and concise status updates and assist your teams with managing project risks
- Lead the development of engagement proposals to assist clients in improving their supply chain performance
- Continuously improve professional skills through a variety of internal and external training courses
- Participate in firm recruiting events to help the practice attract highly talented team members
