Our financial industry client in Toronto is looking for multiple top-notch, established Senior Business Analysts who come from the FI space (retail banking), understand methodology and process, are experienced in and passionate about technology, and can eloquently explain how they add value to their stakeholders and users.
This is fulltime permanent role
Things you need to have:
Degree & minimum 5 years in a Business Analyst related work experience functioning in a senior role.
Strong financial services background with working knowledge of retail banking products and systems, in particular: Loans Originations, Adjudication and Funding processes
5+ years of Experience creating Business requirement documents and experience in managing requirements from project initiation through release.
Experience leading detailed requirement phases identifying, tracking, escalating and/or resolving business systems issues.
Strong capability to Assess, research, analyse and document sponsor/stakeholder needs in accordance with Project Life Cycle and CMM deliverables utilizing reporting tools, requirements.
Experience to deliver adequate end user documentation and training.
Contributes to successful project completion within budget and on time by identifying risks and developing/recommending mitigation strategy
Highly developed and proven analysis, organizational and communication skills (written and verbal)
Ability to Coordinate the UAT phase by assisting the business with preparing test plans and coordinating activities during UAT
Ability to quickly translate user requirements into succinct management information, graphics etc.
Ability to facilitate the documentation of reporting business requirements for Business, IT and project stakeholders
It would be nice if you had:
- SAP ECC – CML or CRM knowledge and Experience
- MBA or relevant designation - an asset
- Business Analysis Certificate from an accredited university
- CBAP designation
- Knowledge of UML2
Excellent analytical, attention to detail, problem solving and decision-making capabilities.
Knowledge of risk management practices and techniques.
Relationship management skills and team lead experience is a plus
Strong written and verbal communications skills are a must.
Strong ability to provide mentoring and coaching on best practices to junior team members.
Demonstrated ability to work independently with focus on time management to meet tight deadlinesin a dynamic team environment.
Able to act as project coordinator for small scale projects.
Ability to build sound strategic relationships with Super Users and other business process owners.
Advance level on Microsoft Office Suite, MS Project, Visio.
What you will be doing:
Responsible for managing project deliverables using SDLC within the various phases of projects life cycle. Work directly with internal stakeholders to understand business requirements, concepts and objectives, guide and assist team members on issues related development, testing and deployment of business applications. You will also be responsible for day to day application support, incidents triage and resolution or escalation, focused on Loans Originations Streams.
