Job Description Corporate Segment Technology Solutions (CSTS) provides application development and support to the various lines of TDBFG businesses. This position will report to the Portfolio Manager and provide support to CDN/US Basel, Diamond and TRMIS & Access Management business lines at TDBFG. In this role, the candidate will assist the Portfolio Manager by working with the IT Demand Managers to provide status report generation and inform team members of project status/progress within the portfolio. The candidate will also schedule and organize meetings, including preparation and co-ordination by booking the facility, pre-mail, arranging required equipment, materials, etc., as required. The candidate will also liaise with the internal PMO team to complete monthly financial tracking and reporting.

Job Requirements * Coordinate development of the portfolio plan with relevant stakeholders and updated as required

  • Assist the Portfolio Manager or the Senior Portfolio Manager or AVP/VP Technology Solutions in identifying the appropriate performance metrics for portfolio reporting
  • Produce the weekly internal management reports on time, and to a high degree of accuracy and quality, in accordance with required methods and standards
  • Support the portfolio by collecting, analyzing, interpreting and reporting financial and performance data
  • Maintain the portfolio Service Catalogue
  • Identify and recommend opportunities to enhance productivity, effectiveness and operational efficiency of the LOB/portfolio processes
  • Support Capacity Forecasting activities
  • Communicate monthly capacity forecasting process submission deadlines
  • Assist in monitoring capacity forecasting process compliance among Technology Project Managers
  • Validate forecast data submissions for completeness and quality
  • Responsibility for Delivery schedule management such as demand estimation and schedule, considering risk and attaining approvals
  • Support Knowledge Management processes for LOB/portfolio:
  • Manage SharePoint & Intranet structure and content
  • Ensure knowledge is codified, monitored, tracked and managed
  • Coordinate and facilitate the training and communication of key knowledge assets with required SMEs
  • Complete responsibilities on a timely basis, while prioritizing and managing workload to ensure quality results
  • Consistently exercise discretion in managing correspondence, information and all matters of confidentiality; escalates issues where appropriate
  • Support a positive work environment that promotes service to the business, quality, innovation and teamwork and ensure timely communication of issues/ points of interest
  • Participate in knowledge transfer within the team and business units

Additional Information Specific Educational Requirements/Accreditations:

  • College or University degree in Computer Science or related diciplines (i.e. Business Administration - Information Systems or Information Technology Management
  • Experience working in the Financial Services industry
  • Time management, presentation and communication skills
  • Good understanding of Financial Products including Loans and other Assets
  • Canadian Securities Course an asset
  • Knowledge of Risk Management and/or Credit Risk and/or Basel III an asset
