Floating Position (Former Employee), Brampton, ONOctober 24, 2014
Pros: three break periods
Cons: heavy lifting
You get assigned to different areas(car parts) each day. You use a scanner, read the orders and then organize it the way it wants it. You have to be organize and accurate for the job. You work with a lot of people and you can converse with them since they are nice people. The hardest part of the job is when you lift heavy car parts. Anything else is – more... fine. Time goes really fast since you keep scanning and organizing orders. – less

Spider/Problems Team Lead (Former Employee), Vaughan, ONNovember 7, 2013
Pros: easy job
Cons: unfullfilling work and poor management.
I worked hard and thrived within my team. My team was strong and exceeded our duties and deadlines, but manager was not a fair and level headed person. Myself and a number of our team members were falsely terminated or quit due to unfair treatment with other employees. We are all in talks with labour board and/or lawyers. Despite of the manager I have – more... still learned and improved on my customer service skills, organizational, and computer skills and also developed new and useful ways to problem solve and lead my team. – less

Fast pace work environment where you are allowed to do your job without somebody hanging over your head
Forklift Operator (Current Employee), Brampton, ONApril 9, 2013
Pros: time goes fast
Cons: repetitivness
My typical work day is to unload trailers, load them with empty skids, bins, or rucks, and to place the unloaded goods on their proper locations.
With this type of job I learned to drive the tow-motor skillfully, to be better organizer, and to be good co-worker.
Management is excellent.
My co-workers are mainly dissent and hardworking people.
The hardest – more... part of my job is its repetitiveness.
The most enjoyable part is when I have to organize the storage area to be able to accommodate an extra material delivered. – less

The company employees many temps with very high turn over, and does not care about dumping them. Very stressful. Poor management based on personal relationship not a real managerial skills.

Shipping and Receiving (Former Employee), Loveland, CONovember 14, 2014
Pros: great paid time off
Monday-Friday job starting at 7 am till 3:30 unloading fright trucks as they come in bringing in boxes and receving the orders, packing up orders to go out. management is great always will to help out if needed ! working with the co-workers almost like family always willing to help each other out any time needed ! to hardest part of the job is when – more... people bring large orders late in the day and they have to go out but we all come together as a team and get it done. and the most enjoyable this is like i said its like we are a working family really good feeling to know you can ask for any thing you need ! – less

Co-Workers were all great to work with
Sequencer (Former Employee), Sterling Heights, MIOctober 16, 2014
A typical day was a 9 or 9.5 hour day. Everyday we were given a quota of amount of racks needed done by the end of the day. Co-workers were awesome, if you work was too fast in your area people would help one another if they had time. everybody was very friendly. During holidays or birthdays the company would get together and have a special lunch.

Pros: have none
Cons: short breaks unsafe work place
A typical day would be to many trucks coming in and not enough going out the product is place all over warehouse making it had to put away or pull orders .You have to be careful who you place in management to have a successful business. My co-worker as a hold was wonderful people to work with and the hardest thing about working for this job working in – more... unsafe and unorganized environment. The must enjoyable part of this job was the work hours 6 til 2:30 monday-thursday and fridays 5 til 12:30 – less

Operator (Former Employee), York, PASeptember 30, 2014
Pros: descent pay
Cons: the job duties
show up to your cell, look at the broadcast and see how parts you are suppose to put out that day. I learned how to assemble parts for harley bikes. Management was a little tough. Co-workers were definately a mixed crowd. Keeping your cell in green by sending out that quota that was needed for the day, you did not want your cell to go into the red. – more... the most enjoyable part of my job was clocking out, and lunch. – less

floor worker (Former Employee), greer scSeptember 16, 2014
Pros: ?
Cons: lied about pay structure and overworks and underpays everyone
management functions by screaming, cursing and threatening. i truly believe that they are taking advantage of the fact that this is a non-union facility so that can force workers to work extra long hours with no time off and under pay them. the training area is in constant motion, which means that the newly trained will be replacing current employees. – more... they might as well have a revolving door out front... – less

Process Tech (Current Employee), Belvidere, ILSeptember 4, 2014
Very basic production job. You would receive totes full of parts, and then you would receive a pick order on your computer. You then check the computer for the items bar code. You would then grab the requested part, verify that it is the right part, and then place it on a cart which would then get sent up to chrysler. Job is very easy compared to what – more... I used to do. – less

I took this job even though I had just graduated from college in the hopes i would be able to move up in the company. That is far from the case. They do not value their workers... AT ALL. They say one thing while doing the complete opposite.

Shift Manager (Current Employee), Dallas, TXAugust 20, 2014
Pros: compensation
Cons: lack of support, lack or work-life balance
I oversee the production and productivity of all orders. Reallocate manpower based on the day's activities. Ensure delivery expectations are met. I've how to be a better leader and how to effectively hold myself and other accountable. My co-workers were a great part of my success, hardworking and displayed a great sense of teamwork. The hardest part – more... of my job is the lack of support from my leadership. The most enjoyable part of my day is when my personal and business goals are met. – less
