We are seeking a full-time Warehouse/Shop Assistant to perform work in and around the Edmonton, Alberta area.
Essential Responsibilities: A shop assistant’s job duties will vary greatly. The typical routine includes general housekeeping of warehouse, organizing, tracking and maintaining shop inventory materials, performing light routine maintenance on tools and equipment, working with hand tools, moving/shifting materials in the warehouse, weekly safety inspections, and generally assisting the Shop Supervisor with other duties and activities as required. Laborers may also assist Telecommunication Field Technicians in the set-up and maintenance of company equipment. This individual may work with or near hazardous materials such as household chemicals as part of their job duties.
-High School Diploma
-Steady work history, reliable and dependable
-Electrical and mechanical hands on experience are considered an asset
-Quick learner that demonstrates initiative and is a self-starter
-Demonstrates a strong work ethic and consistently motivated to keep himself/herself busy including slow periods
-Ability to lift 50 lbs.

Compensation: The salary range for this position is $15-$20 per hour based on qualifications and experience. Switch also offers a group benefits plan after successful 3 month probationary period.
