Swagat Banquet Hall in Mississauga, Ontario seeks a full time Head Chef with 3-5 years of qualified experience. We seek a candidate who specializes in East Indian cuisine. Must have good working knowledge of English and work well in a fast paced high pressure environment.

Formal dining room, Restaurant
Responsible for the preparation and cooking meals in a large banquet format
Plan menus that are in line with the needs of clientele
Be mindful and knowledgeable of food allergies and safe food handling procedures
Consult with clients regarding weddings, banquets and special occasion menus/events
Plan and organize food requirements and menu execution for large functions
Create new recipes as required
Candidate must have extensive knowledge and experience in Indian cooking and the tandoor oven.
