Our client, a commercial finance and leasing company, is currently looking for a VP of Sales for their Toronto office.


  • Knowledge of vendor finance programs
  • Knowledge of the credit process
  • Ability to understand financial statements and assess credit worthiness/cash flow/debt service
  • Meet with potential clients to present and promote leasing relationships
  • Develop and deliver proposals for long-term client partnerships
  • Assist in the development of manufacturer programs
  • Develop and manage implementation internally and externally
  • Maintain proactive relationships with key dealers and manufacturers
  • Serve as a liaison between the company and partners including joint sales calls, overcoming objections and closing the sale
  • Expand business base
  • Create, manage, and achieve commercial goals
  • Conduct regular management information meetings


  • Minimum College Diploma or University Degree in Business or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 5 years sales and related leasing experience
  • Knowledge of leasing and credit, particularly in the material handling market is a MUST
  • Proven sales, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Thorough knowledge of current marketplace trends and activities
  • A risk taker and problem solver who can build relationships and leverage energy and spirit to create a winning solution
  • A “need to win” attitude and the ability to persevere to see the process through to completion
  • Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail
  • Proficient in MS Office products -Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
