Sutherland Global Services is willing to do all the legwork when it comes to helping your business close a sale or complete a transaction. The company offers business-process outsourcing (BPO) services primarily for clients in the airline, technology, retail, banking and finance, and telecommunications industries. It provides outsourced customer acquisition and retention, technical assistance, sales support functions, and back-office services from more than 30 centers in Bulgaria, Canada, Egypt, India, the Philippines, Mexico, Nicaragua, the United Arab Emirates, the UK, and the US. Established in 1986, Sutherland also acts as a consultant to companies looking to improve their call center operations.
In mid-2010, Sutherland expanded through the $55 million acquisition of India-based Adventity Global Services. Adventity, a fellow BPO provider, caters to the banking, airline, and travel sectors. The deal boosted Sutherland's presence in Asia, Africa, and the Middle East and is projected to earn Sutherland $50 million in additional revenue in the 12 months following the transaction.
