A busy law firm is seeking a temporary intermediate legal administrative assistant to join their office in Surrey. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who lives locally and would like to work close to home.
You will be immersed in all aspects of commercial litigation while working alongside a senior Partner. Your key responsibilities will include calendar management, opening and closing files, handling a BF system, drafting documents, assist and prepare binders, enter billings in PC Law, and other administrative tasks as required.
To succeed in this role, you must have a keen eye for detail while being able to maintain organization with multiple tasks in this fast paced environment. You should have a minimum of 4 - 7 years of commercial litigation experience in a law firm environment and are a graduate of an accredited legal administrative assistant or paralegal program. Knowledge of basic bookkeeping would be an asset You are an effective problem-solver who can make decisions independently where necessary. Additionally, you will have strong written and verbal communication skills.
