Superior Flood & Fire Restoration Inc.

24 Hour Emergency Response Restoration Company with offices in downtown Vancouver is looking for a skilled and experienced Restoration Project Manager to join our team.

Position Summary:

Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Project Manager is responsible for estimating and management of restoration projects and ensuring jobs are completed on time, within budget and to the satisfaction of our customers. We are looking for an independent and hardworking individual who has a can do attitude, great initiative and strong communication skills. You present yourself well with customers and will be on call for 24/7 rotation for emergency response.

Estimating & Project Management Requirements:

-Scope new projects to determine the extent of losses; produce fair and accurate estimates of work using Xactimate Software.
-Update and maintain the Project Manual in accordance with set procedures.
-24/7 act as the primary point of contact with customers.
-Develop and maintain strong relationships and act as a prime liaison between policy holders, adjusters, brokers, insurers, property managers and Superior Flood & Fire Restoration Inc.
-Conduct Pre and post-inspection with customers according to set procedures.
-Coordinate and oversee the work of Restoration Technicians according to set procedures,
-Coordinate and oversee the work of sub trades.
-Manage costs to established project budgets and target profit margins.
-Oversee project deliverables and monitor progress.
-Monitor and anticipate competitor activities.
-Build the Superior brand within the local community. Promote the Superior Flood & Fire Restoration Inc. brand, identify and investigate new opportunities in the market place.
-Provide written reports on project status, targets and projections.

Education and Experience:

-Minimum 2 years' experience in project management (e.g., estimating, developing timelines, scheduling and coordinating staff, motivating team, etc.).
-Understanding of insurance claims process.
-IICRC Certification preferred.
-Proven track record in estimating and sound judgment. Xactimate preferred but not mandatory.
-Ability to handle several projects at one time.
-Strong understanding of restoration or construction industry.
-General knowledge of the insurance industry.
-Computer proficiency with exposure to MS office and several different PM systems.
