The describe task are not limited to the following: Cook a variety of meats, fish, poultry, vegetables and other food items in broilers, ovens, grills and other kitchen equipment. Assist with sorting all deliveries to the kitchen. Assist in cleaning, dish washing, and all food preparation areas as required. Ensure ingredients are restocked at all times. Portion of ingredients according to schedule and instructions to maintain stock to provide and ensure smooth service and delivery. Menu planning, control food cost and waste. maintain and clean all equipment.
Min. 3yrs experience in fast pace restaurant (kitchen).
Previous work experience: Two years with a cruise line in the kitchen
Food safe certificate course is necessary.
Culinary certification or diploma
Work independently and as a team.
Professional skills in presentation, quality, organization, cleanliness, time management, and attitude.
Will follow policies and procedures and all duties related to the operation of the restaurant but not limited to.
Shift work and weekends
Able to prepare Asian cuisine is an asset.
Read, write, speak, communicate, and understand English
