I have worked in many places, and Sunrise was by far the best enviorment!

I loved working there with the residents and my coworkers. I did not like the management and how they treated their employees. My coworkers were excellent and my boss was a good man. I learned a lot about myself during my time there because I was asked to lead when we were short staff which was something I never did before. I was upset when I was let – more... go because it had nothing to do with my performance or attitude. The building was sold to another company and they decided to let a bunch of good workers go and keep a lot of bad managers and directors. – less

letting long term hard workers go instead of working with them to get them to stay
no structure

This is a great position where your able to make a difference in peoples lives. Each day is different and unique. As an employee you are expected to be able to run every role from cleaning & dining services to resident care.

Wonderful team who supported me throughout nursing school.

I assisted the clients in everyday activities. I participated in recreational activities and going on outings with clients.

LOVING HOME AND CARE FOR SENIORS,BUT VERY HIGH TURNOVER IN ALL DEPTS.

The company was a great place to work when I was first hired. I truly loved my job and working with the Seniors who lived there. Toward then end of my employment the company had many internal problems that make the day to day working environment very difficult. Shortly after I left the company was sold out.

The people there are very professional, and nice!
I loved assisting the residents and making them feel at home.
I learned how to assist residents with Dementia and Alzheimer's and how to tend to every residents personal needs calmly, with love and patients.
The hardest part of the job was when the residents passed away.

Awesome place to work if you enjoy working with the elderly. Everyone gets along.

It was a great place to work. The hours were great and so were the people.

Sunrise has been the worst job I have ever had. Alot of drama within departments and no rule followers. They want you there 60 hours a week to do others jobs. There is no morale for staff and the hiring is very lazy. They are always understaffed.

Sunrise is a fast paced environment. I have learned a lot about caring for people. My co-workers are friendly and helpful. I have not had much contact with management. The hardest part of my job is the challenging behaviors that some of the Dementia residents endure. Sunrise is an exellant place to work for if you have a family. My supervisior is willing to work around my home schedule.

The Place SUCKS..they preach team member credo, however corporate dont give a rats about you or your job security. Turnover sucks. You work in constant fear of losing your job. Your set up for constant failure. No help from HR corporate or in house. Its devastating how much they charge and what they put their employees through

If I knew then what I know now I would have never applyed for this job. They are so out of wack with everything they do. There is not organization, People come in to wrok when they feel like it and leave when they want. Residents continually have unexplained bruises and falls. The residents are the only thing I love about my job.

Sunrise was my first job in the field and honestly they were more laid back in the policies so it wasn't as stressful. It was a good place to decide if you wanted to be in the field as well because they give you many opportunities to learn new things.

Residents and family are awesome. I worked a lot of overtime but could never get a promotion. Little room to advance.
