Sungard Availability Systems is an active and high energy place to work. Struggling to regain their footing after sluggish years, I believe they are seeking a rapid turnaround staff yet sacrificing personnel to achieve it. There is high turnover with each staff member wondering if they'll be next. New hires often aren't given enough time to learn the – more... company by the time they're given an initial performance review at 4 months and told they're just not working up to expectations.
They have a terrific team but seem to constantly be looking for something better thus impacting the performance of the teams as a whole by preoccupying their thoughts of how to keep a target off their back. – less
