Relaxed, comfortable, flexible, down to earth, great team, great boss.
Pros: flexible hours, one month holidays, time off in lieu of overtime, summer fridays half days, restaurant breakfasts, restaurant lunches
Cons: winter - 12-14 hour days, 7 days a week, (as needed to meet deadlines)
Typical day at The Summit Group would be checking for Customer Service Email Inquiries, responding to any and all emails, checking for golf orders, pulling and packing all orders for Canada and the USA, ship orders, check in stock, enter sales orders. Handled a variety of tasks on any given day. Small office and we all worked well together, we assisted each other when or if it was needed, was like working with family after a while. I really don't think that the job had the hardest part of the job. I enjoyed working at Summit and looked forward to going to work everyday. My only sadness is that the company no longer exists. I can only hope to find another employer with the same work/life attitude as The Summit Group.
