Account manager & Territory Sales - DL 255

Our client is currently looking for several Account Managers for their Lower Mainland operations. The Account Manager will be responsible for business development of a geographic territory, and report to the District Sales Manager. They will be responsible for developing sales plans that effectively market our client’s value proposition. This will include both new business acquisition as well as growing existing accounts, managing a portfolio of approximately 75 medium to large sized customers. The successful candidate will be responsible for a wide range of products and will utilize multiple sales techniques to drive revenue.   • Develop new business opportunities and maintain existing clients, including National Accounts
  • Weekly field activity of 23 customer calls including a minimum of 3 new customer development calls
  • Develop and implement account penetration plans and strategies
  • Aggressively follow up on leads to convert to profitable sales
  • Partner with suppliers and vendors to achieve profitable sales goals
  • Identify and classify opportunities by establishing pipeline reports and customer action plans
  • Communicate with branch team to resolve customer issues


  • University or College degree/diploma in Business, Marketing, Sales or other discipline
  • 3-5 years of experience in business-to-business sales/inside sales in a complex sales environment
  • Preferred industrial sales experience
  • Strong interpersonal, communication & leadership skills
  • Excellent prioritization, organization, and time management skills
  • Possession of a valid Class 5 driver’s license and a reliable vehicle
  • Proactive work style: takes initiative, proactively communicates with teams, follows up on issues,
