The Summer Solstice Aboriginal Arts Festival (SSAAF) is looking for volunteers for our 17th Annual Festival, which runs June 21-23rd, 2013 in Ottawa, ON. In 2012, the event grew tremendously attracting over 30,000 to the new venue of Vincent Massey Park. In addition to our extensive family and cultural programming, the main draw for most visitors continues to be the International Competition Pow wow. In 2012, the $65,000 in prize money attracted hundreds of the very best dancers from across Ontario, Quebec, Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Manitoba, Alberta and many from the United States including New York, Montana, Arizona and more! With this, SSAAF staff had seen a reason to build our volunteer program for 2013! We have over 60 positions to fill over three wonderful, fun-filled days.
