Responsibilities:

  • First point of contact for all incoming communications
  • Reception/phone duties
  • Monitoring/entering weekly time and expenses for all staff
  • Proposal and letter preparation/editing
  • Weekly Bank deposits
  • Process credit card payments from clients
  • Maintain general office organization
  • Liaise with Bedford office re reporting and various other requests
  • Assist with monthly invoice process
  • Monitor monthly Gas receipts
  • Manage documents, scanning, organizing files
  • Maintain positive relationship between Strum Consulting, partnering companies & clients
  • Work closely with the Project Managers and assist as necessary

Desired Skills and Qualifications:

  • University/College degree or graduate of a recognized office administration program/business program/secretarial program
  • Minimum 2 years’ administrative experience
  • Possess strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word and Excel)
  • Strong organizational and planning skills
  • Detail oriented with an adaptability to change
  • Has the ability to work independently and in a team
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to problem solve
  • Professional and approachable

The position provides a competitive compensation package commensurate with experience.
The position would be permanent, full-time and it would be out of Antigonish, NS.
