The Stronco Group of Companies is a full service trade show company providing products and services to conventions, trade and consumer shows, as well as special events in the GTA as well as across Canada. We are currently seeking a full time project manager to work out of our Toronto office
Under the direction of the Director of Operations, the selected candidate will proactively coordinate and develop all operational aspects to ensure the timely and efficient installations and dismantle of clients events and shows.
College degree preferred
Strong organizational and communication skills
Detail oriented, ability to multi task
3 to 5 years industry experience
Ability to use Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook
Knowledge of applicable Ministry of Labour regulations
Duties and Responsibilities
Working closely with the Account Executive and Operations Manager, develop the scope of work and manage assigned show.
Inform all relevant internal departments of requirements in a timely manner through the production of a show resume
Develop an efficient plan for the installation and dismantle of assigned work ensuring that all planned show margins are met, controlling all labour and direct costs to ensure targets are met.
Organize and supervise on site labour – both union and non union
Assemble all necessary information regarding equipment from all internal departments both from show management and exhibitors to develop an accurate and timely equipment requirement list.
Arrange through the warehouse manager all outside and sub contract equipment and supplies required for job.
Assist with the production and on site supervision of other project manager shows in the capacity of an assistant.
