As part of that change we now service new car shoppers with recent acquisitions of Toyota and General Motors franchises.

We are hiring for an Administration Assistant position at our Stratford, ON location.

Key Duties are as follows:

  • Greeting of customers immediately upon arrival at the dealership
  • Administrative support and secretarial services
  • Answering of inbound telephone calls, transfering calls to appropriate staff extensions and taking/delivering messages
  • Identification, research and resolution of customer issues using available resources
  • Handling of general inquiries/requests from sales staff
  • Preparation of outgoing mail for post office/couriers and acceptance of incoming courier deliveries
  • Filing records and documents in a timely and efficient manner
  • Creation/typing/editing of documents as assigned
  • Inventory administration
  • Preparation of documents for licensing, funding etc
  • End Of Day procedures
  • Data entry as required/assigned
  • Accounting duties as assigned
  • Other administrative duties as assigned

  • High School Diploma
  • College Diploma in related field an asset
  • 1-2 years administrative experience
  • Automotive experience preferred
  • Understanding of automotive terminology
  • Additional languages an asset
  • Strong interpersonal, communication and active listening skills
  • Strong observational skills
  • Excellent organization and multi-tasking abilities
  • Manual dexterity – typing
  • Data entry
  • Computer literate – internet, email, file sharing
  • Knowledge of various software – Word, Excel, PowerPoint, CRM, Dealer Management Systems (DMS) programs
  • Strong mathematical skills and an understanding of tax, interest, borrowing and other financial concepts
  • Valid driver’s licence with a good driver’s abstract
  • Insurable – currently insured
  • Clean criminal record check
