Web Developers/Designers

Strathcom Media Inc. is looking to hire passionate and creative Web Developers/Designers.

Positions are full-time.

Applicants must be strong team players, organized, friendly, and able to track time accurately while working under timelines along with our existing team of staff members.

Responsibilities:

• Developing and maintaining database driven web sites.
• Keeping current with new applicable software, technology and trends, including SEO.
• Provide design & development time estimates.
• Troubleshooting.

Requirements:

• HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery.
• Adobe software.
• Solid understanding of web design principles.
• Proficiency with cross-browser/cross-platform issues.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Team player that works well under pressure.
• Basic SEO skills. Knowledge of advanced SEO practices and how to apply them would be a strong asset.

Nice to have’s:

• Knowledge of Template Toolkit.
• Knowledge of MVC framework (Django, Ruby on Rails).
• Experience with building mobile websites.
• Familiar with version control.
• Copywriting skills.
• Bilingual.
