Accountants need not apply - this opportunity is for someone who wants to lead the organization by providing leadership in finance to enable the organization to continue on its path to success.

Reporting to the President, the responsibilities will include:
+Reporting and Analysis
-Developing, monitoring and reporting on: budgets, KPI's, sales, cash flow, cost control

+Process improvement
-utilize your business knowledge to develop ways for us to become more efficient and effective through quotation workflow, inventory & warehouse management process, carrier compliance, pricing/costing development
-Develop new opportunities for IT improvement to support business objectives

+General Accounting
-with the support of an Accounting Specialist, ensure all accounting duties are completed on a timely basis, including: Journal entries and reconciliations; AP/AR, monthly and annual financial statements; process payroll; government remittances.

-Manage Claims bur obtaining relevant documentation and submitting claims

-Assist President with HR requirements
-Set up and maintain employee files
-Manage employee benefits

What will it take for you to succeed?
+Post secondary education in Accounting/Finance with a designation (CA, CGA, CMA) preferred
-3-5 years of experience managing the accounting/Finance function, preferably within a small to medium size organization that is highly sales focused and entrepreneurial
-Exceptional analytical skills with superior attention to detail
-Strong business acumen and problem solving skills
-"can do" and "will do" attitude, demonstrated by the ability to work under pressure and changing deadlines
-The willingness to be a leader and be involved in all aspects of the organization - take calculated risks
-Self-directed, innovative and driven to succeed
