This position will provide assistance to the General Manager with maintaining all administrative tasks as well as organizing and coordinating equipment repairs and maintenance. Some of the key responsibilities include, but are not limited to: planning, implementing, monitoring and scheduling preventative heavy equipment maintenance; receiving all calls to coordinate equipment moves to and from job sites, shop or rental suppliers; receiving and distributing mail; organizing and scheduling Float Mover; ordering parts and maintaining inventory levels; dispatching boom, roll-off and lube trucks; matching purchase orders to invoices as well as entering invoices into accounting packages; reviewing fuel inventory and usage; recording hour meter cards and documenting problems; monitoring fluid analysis service (SOS) reports from vendor.
Hours are Monday to Friday, 7:00 am to 4:00 pm, significant shift work or non-standard hours of work required.
Qualifications and requirements: completion of a Secondary High School Diploma is generally required, a minimum of 3 years of experience working in a Heavy Equipment Mechanical role is preferred, Heavy Equipment Mechanical training is required, as well as proficiency in MS Word, Excel and Outlook. This person must be very highly organized, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
