Our established and growing corporate office is currently looking to add a key player to our Finance and Accounting department. As part of a close knit accounting team the incumbent will work closely with the Assistant Controller fulfilling various accounting functions.
*Main responsibilities are accounts payables and personnel expenses.
*Accounts receivable including preparation of daily cash receipts report and bank deposit, posting of daily deposits to A/R and document filing.
*Preparation and distribution of reports and documents as required.
*Intercompany charges and manual invoices.
*Other duties as may be assigned.
*A combination of formal accounting education and practical experience to ensure familiarity and understanding of relevant accounting processes.
*Sound knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
*Maturity, patience, tact in in dealing with personnel at all levels within the organization.
*Strong attention to detail and ability to work within tight deadlines.
*Several years’ experience in a complex business environment.
*Experience in a multi department professional services company an asset.
*Understanding of WIP, project costing and project billings an asset.
