With over 15 years of industry experience, Sterling Card Payment Solutions offers a full suite of in-store payment solutions with tailored to industry verticals, allowing Canadian merchants to accept all major credit cards (VISA, MasterCard, American Express and Interac), and valued-added services such as gift and loyalty card programs.


Conduct telephone calls to prospective companies to identify Merchant Service Needs. Target calling lists.
You must be comfortable making cold calls including taking some rejection.
Research company data from Internet web sites and various internal databases (CRM Program).
Update internal customer relationship management (CRM) system with relevant data.
Follow up by telephone and schedule pairings with internal Business Development Managers.
Work in conjunction with BDM Sales Group

Desired Skills & Experience:

You must be comfortable making 40 to 60 researched dials per day and speaking live with 5 to10 people.
You must be energetic, enthusiastic and articulate.
You must be 100% fluent in English; fluent in French desirable
You must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
You must be client centric.
Some post secondary education is preferred. (Experience and Personality can supersede)
You should live in the Markham/Toronto area (access to car)


Salary plus Commission

Realistic first year annual income for a new full time person committed to working 40 hours per week is $40,000 – $50,000 per annum. Subsequent years should increase by $5,000 - $10,000 per year based on improved industry skill level and repeat business.

Experienced individuals should earn more. People with an established network of business contacts may generate even more volume and commission.
