We currently have an opening for an energetic and highly motivated Marketing & Special Events Coordinator.
The main responsibilities include event coordination for Semi-Annual Graduation Ceremonies, Student Success Initiatives, and other special events such as Cinema Sundays, Career Fairs and Trade Shows, as well as administrative duties including:
- Taking minutes at meetings
- Creating Powerpoint presentations
- Updating spreadsheets
- Conducting surveys
- Data collection, analysis and reporting
The successful candidate will have a College Diploma or University degree in related discipline, and a minimum of two years of event coordination experience.
In addition to exceptional project management skills, we are looking for someone with a high degree of personal effectiveness, proven organizational and communication skills, and a strong customer service orientation. You must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
Please note that a valid driver’s license and reliable car are required for some local travel. Flexibility is essential for this position as there will be some evening/weekend work.
